Well hello!  Welcome to my blog.  Some of my friends have been encouraging me to write one for a couple of years.  So, why start now?  I am balanced on this proverbial cliff, ready to jump off into 2013.  I've been looking back over 2012 and saw a few of the hills and valleys behind me, but for the most part, I couldn't see much of what had happened.  This blog is my way of remembering a year of my life.  Don't expect great reading material here, lol.  I ramble.  Alot!  I may ponder over what I've read in my Bible that day, talk about my my three awesome kids, my artwork, a photography job, or procrastinating cleaning my kitchen.  I can, however, promise you one thing.  I will always be real.  So, without further adieu...come on and join me as we leap off into 2013.  The adventure awaits us!  :D

Notes to myself...writing in my Bible.

I have written notes in my Bible since I was a teenager.  It started out innocently enough.  I would highlight or underline a passage that spoke to me.  Then, it became a spot to jot down sermon notes when I forgot my notebook.  Every once in a while I would doodle a little something in the corner so that page would stand out when I was flipping through.  Sometimes I would scribble a little reminder of what God had specifically spoke into my heart while reading a particular passage.  My old Bible is paper thin and falling apart, but I so love reading the notes and promises from years ago.  Many of those pastors whose messages so inspired me are long gone, but their insight into God's word lives on. My little ramblings on this present time.

Hey y'all. Hope everyone is doing okay today. My mind has been in a million places, so I thought I would hop on here and write a bit. The times we are living in right now is unlike any other time in most of our lives. Covid-19 is our plague. It is mild in some, deadly in others, and so unknown. I am not on here to bash or try to convince you of anything. I am merely sharing my experience. Therefore, please no bashing me. My first father-in-law, mother-in-law, and brother-in-law have all had Covid. So has other members of their family. Members of my church have had it. Friends have had it. Acquaintances have had it. For all I know, that could have been what I had when I was so sick back in Februrary. I know people who have only had mild symptoms, but others have been sick for weeks. Still others have passed away or are currently critically ill and only a miracle will save them. It is a terrible, sneaky disease.
