A little bit about me...

Hey y'all!  I'm sorry I'm so sporadic with my posts.  Life is busy, as I'm sure you all know.  Anyway, while I've been absent, I had the amazing opportunity to catch up with my friend Dana Ellis!  She is a talented photographer, and God uses her to do some truly magnificent things.  One of the ministries she has been working on has been to share Transformation Reports about "women whose lives have been radically changed by God." (Dana Ellis)  I am so humbled and privileged that she would allow me to share part of my story with her, and thus share it with you!  When I was young, I used to pray for a testimony.  Well, God answered that prayer...and then some!  He gave it. It's my responsibility to share it!  May you all be blessed!  Oh, and shout out to Dana for those amazing photographs!  I felt so pretty!!!  :D

Well hello!  Welcome to my blog.  Some of my friends have been encouraging me to write one for a couple of years.  So, why start now?  I am balanced on this proverbial cliff, ready to jump off into 2013.  I 've been looking back over 2012 and saw a few of the hills and valleys behind me , b ut for the most part, I couldn't see much of what had happened.  This blog is my way of remembering a year of my life.  Don't expect great reading material here, lol.  I ramble.  Alot!  I may ponder o ver what I've read in my Bible that day, talk about my my three awesome kids, my artwork, a photography job, or procrastinating cleaning my kitchen.  I can, however, promise you one thing.  I will always be real.   So, without further adieu... come on and join me as we leap off into 2013.  The adventure awaits us!  :D

Plan? What plan? Me? Have a PLAN????

I'm an off the cuff kinda gal.  I'm pretty good at going with the flow.  I usually don't know, from one day to the next, what life is going to throw at me.  Being flexible is definitely a gift! However, sometimes I really do need a plan.  When I have a photography job, it's important to at least have a date and time written down so I don't forget.  If I'm going to Disney to see Emily, I need know when I'm going so she can schedule her days off.  If I'm going out of town, a definite place to stay is rather important, lol.  But, what about a LIFE plan?  How important is that? I'll be honest.  Having a long term plan for my life went out the window years ago.  I never planned to have cancer.  Nor did I plan to get divorced...or remarried...or divorced again.  I didn't plan to have my third child at the age of 36.  I didn't plan to raise her alone.  I didn't plan soooo many things about my life.  Nonetheless, I'm thankful for every one

Waiting...just waiting :)

Well hello!!!  Forgive me for taking such a long leave of absence on you.  Life has been busy, as usual...and it's just January!  I knew I wanted to write today, but I really wasn't sure what to write about.  I figured there would be at least a few people waiting for the next installment of the Bullet, but only because they told me so, lol.  Then it hit me!  I'll write about waiting!  Goodness knows I've done enough of that today! For Pete's sake!  Y'all have waited 17 days for this post, hahaha! Don't you just hate to wait?  Wait to see the doctor, wait to get prescriptions filled, wait to have tests run, wait for results, wait in line to drop off kids, wait to pick them up, wait in line at the grocery store, dollar store, Wally World...wait, wait, wait.  I wait for my check to be deposited, wait for the next pay day, wait for food to cook, wait for it to cool, wait for laundry to wash, and then for it to dry.  Wait to get married, wait to get single, wai
