Well, hello there. It's been a REALLY long time...

So, how ya been? I've been worse and I've been better. Been a few places and had a major surgery. Like I said, it's been a REALLY long time.

I found out in 2016 that I had a spinal tumor that had completely compressed my spinal cord. I had fallen at one of the Disney World resorts and just didn't improve. Six months later I was finally diagnosed, had surgery to remove it, then went into an inpatient rehab. I greatly improved. I still get tired very easily, though, and my mobility isn't what it used to be. Nonetheless, I'm not complaining. God has been so good and so faithful. I know He isn't finished writing my story, so I'm not finished either.

I can't even really tell you everything that has happened in the past few years. Family members passed away, others were born. My kids grew up (one is still growing), and life moves on. I still love all my critters a lot. We are in a pandemic with Covid-19. There have been riots and protests and social distancing and craziness. In the midst of it all, I decided to come back to my blog and start again. 

So, here we go! Welcome back. Hope you'll come and sit a spell. Read a blog or two or three. I'll see you soon.

Well hello!  Welcome to my blog.  Some of my friends have been encouraging me to write one for a couple of years.  So, why start now?  I am balanced on this proverbial cliff, ready to jump off into 2013.  I 've been looking back over 2012 and saw a few of the hills and valleys behind me , b ut for the most part, I couldn't see much of what had happened.  This blog is my way of remembering a year of my life.  Don't expect great reading material here, lol.  I ramble.  Alot!  I may ponder o ver what I've read in my Bible that day, talk about my my three awesome kids, my artwork, a photography job, or procrastinating cleaning my kitchen.  I can, however, promise you one thing.  I will always be real.   So, without further adieu... come on and join me as we leap off into 2013.  The adventure awaits us!  :D

Plan? What plan? Me? Have a PLAN????

I'm an off the cuff kinda gal.  I'm pretty good at going with the flow.  I usually don't know, from one day to the next, what life is going to throw at me.  Being flexible is definitely a gift! However, sometimes I really do need a plan.  When I have a photography job, it's important to at least have a date and time written down so I don't forget.  If I'm going to Disney to see Emily, I need know when I'm going so she can schedule her days off.  If I'm going out of town, a definite place to stay is rather important, lol.  But, what about a LIFE plan?  How important is that? I'll be honest.  Having a long term plan for my life went out the window years ago.  I never planned to have cancer.  Nor did I plan to get divorced...or remarried...or divorced again.  I didn't plan to have my third child at the age of 36.  I didn't plan to raise her alone.  I didn't plan soooo many things about my life.  Nonetheless, I'm thankful for every one

Waiting...just waiting :)

Well hello!!!  Forgive me for taking such a long leave of absence on you.  Life has been busy, as usual...and it's just January!  I knew I wanted to write today, but I really wasn't sure what to write about.  I figured there would be at least a few people waiting for the next installment of the Bullet, but only because they told me so, lol.  Then it hit me!  I'll write about waiting!  Goodness knows I've done enough of that today! For Pete's sake!  Y'all have waited 17 days for this post, hahaha!
